Mommy Forum

This past week has been filled with checking my facebook a million times more than usual thanks to the new Mommy Forum I was invited to join on facebook by Ofure! The forum is composed of Houstonian mommies of mostly Nigerian descent. All the mommies are in their mid to late 20s and early 30s with small children around Abby's age. Its been fun reading their funny stories on the forum and brainstorming ways to fellowship with each other. I've also seen some potential future husbands for Abby...I may or may not have suggested to some mommies that they should start thinking about putting down a bride price offer for my daughter...In other news Abby got another beautiful doll, a princess chair and veggie tales DVDs from Grandma and Grandpa Mauritz. She loves the intro song to the veggie tales show! She dances, claps her hands and giggles during the intro and then once the song is over she looses interest in the DVD and wanders off to find trouble elsewhere. Her favorite target is Peanut Butter. Our poor cat avoids her as much as possible. He has taken to resting in high places that Abby can't reach. One day they will be friends, but for now their relationship is a love-hate one! Kitty is actually one of the 4 words Abby says with accuracy. Anyway it's T minus 2 days until her birthday party and T minus 3 days until hubby and I go on our Carribbean cruise!
